Description
Blue Origin is hiring a Software Development Engineer L4 for its Engines business unit to develop and verify real-time embedded avionics software for rocket engines used in human-capable spacecraft. The role is hands-on and safety-critical, involving the full software development lifecycle from requirements and architecture through coding, unit testing, integration, verification, maintenance, and issue resolution. Candidates need extensive experience with embedded systems, C/C++, Python, device drivers, communication protocols, V&V, and aerospace software standards, with preferred exposure to embedded avionics, safety-critical testing, Rust, and UML.
