Magna Electronics is hiring a Low-Level Driver Software Engineer to write and maintain software requirements and low-level drivers for automotive peripherals and communication interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, and I2C. The role also involves configuring AUTOSAR BSW modules, implementing ISO 26262 functional safety, performing SWE.4 and SWE.5 testing, and delivering ASPICE-compliant software in an Agile environment. Candidates should have C/C++ programming skills, classic AUTOSAR knowledge, microcontroller/SoC architecture knowledge, communication protocol expertise, and functional safety understanding. The position offers a gross annual salary starting at 140,000 RON, hybrid work, and other benefits.
