AWS Core Networking is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Network Fabric Engineering team to build software services that deploy and scale Amazon networks across global data centers. The role involves developing distributed systems, troubleshooting network issues, optimizing performance and scalability, managing customer incidents, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, programming experience, and Linux/Unix experience, with a 24x7 on-call rotation and occasional travel to data center and customer sites.
