The Software Development Engineer will develop, maintain, and deploy high-performance runtime libraries and drivers for AWS Neuron, including the Neuron Runtime, profiler, ML kernels, and ML frameworks supporting Inferentia and Trainium hardware. The role covers distributed-systems architecture, reliability, scalability, C++ compiler integration, cross-functional product delivery, and full-service ownership from deployment through monitoring, alerting, on-call, and post-incident review. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and programming experience; the position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
