The Software Development Engineer for the Neuron Runtime Team will develop, maintain, and deploy high-performance runtime libraries and drivers for AWS Inferentia and Trainium machine learning accelerators. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including distributed systems, C++ compiler integration, profiling, scalability, reliability, and usability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; the position is based in Cupertino, California, or Seattle, Washington, with annual base salaries of $165,200–$223,600 or $143,700–$194,400 respectively.
