Amazon is hiring an experienced Software Developer for its AWS Lambda Runtimes team in Dublin. The role focuses on implementing, documenting, updating security, and supporting libraries for Lambda runtimes across seven languages, including Python, NodeJS, Java, .NET, Ruby, Go, and Rust. The developer will work with upstream open-source communities, improve runtime operations for efficiency and scalability, and balance security patching with customer disruption risk. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least three years of recent software development experience, systems design or debugging experience, strong analytical and communication skills, open-source contributions, and programming expertise in at least two of the listed languages.
