Description
The Software Developer Engineer will design and develop software systems for Amazon’s next-generation datacenter network, including network-visibility tools and systems that automate wiring and incremental network expansion. The role involves providing technical direction, reviewing software designs, collaborating with network and operations teams, owning production software, and improving documentation and processes. Basic qualifications include professional software development experience, system design or architecture experience, programming experience, and the ability to oversee multiple AI agents; preferred qualifications include a computer science degree, full software development lifecycle experience, and knowledge of Rust, Java, C/C++, and Linux.
