Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its S3 Distribution Plane team to design, develop, and maintain large-scale DNS, networking, security, TLS, VPC endpoint, and private-connectivity services. The role focuses on operational health, build and release systems, CI/CD, test infrastructure, code quality, fleet health, security and reliability, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 114,800 to 191,800 annually.
