Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) Simulation team in Bellevue, Washington. The role focuses on building and maintaining the software and data infrastructure for a large distributed simulation system used for inventory planning, capacity modeling, buying optimization, labor planning, and AB testing. Responsibilities include designing simulation and buying architectures, optimizing software, data, and queries, scaling the system, and leading cross-team initiatives.
