Description
Amazon is hiring an SDN Control Plane Software Engineer to design, implement, and operate the control plane for its low Earth orbit satellite network. The role focuses on scalable, high-throughput network architecture, routing and forwarding, traffic engineering, software-defined networking, highly available control-plane software, and automation across physical and remote nodes. The engineer will develop routing control-plane software in C and Rust and support operational excellence. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience and two years of design or architecture experience, with preferred full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
