Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for its Leo Commerce engineering organization to design and implement telecom components, applications, and services for Amazon Leo’s satellite network. The role partners with satellite, network, security, product, UX, marketing, and backend commerce teams; uses agentic development workflows and generative AI; contributes to code reviews and front-end best practices; and documents software for new team members. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, one year of software development engineer experience, and experience with large-scale distributed or embedded software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
