Apple is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building secure, reliable, and scalable distributed systems and services for the Apple Store Online global eCommerce platform. The role combines hands-on technical leadership in architecture, code reviews, debugging, and secure-by-design development with people management, stakeholder communication, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects. Candidates need at least 8 years of backend engineering experience, Java or equivalent expertise, distributed systems and microservices experience, and a relevant bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent industry experience.
