Description

The employer is seeking a Software Development Expert for a 12-month, 100% workload public-sector transformation project starting in Q1 2026. The role develops and maintains multi-tier application systems using Java EE, Angular, PowerBuilder, databases, middleware, and PL/SQL across TA 2.0 and TA 3.0J architectures. The position is based in Vienna with 1–2 days per week on-site and otherwise remote, requires German, and demands substantial consulting and IT experience plus practical experience with the specified architectures and technologies.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: IT-oriented education such as HTL, university of applied sciences, university, or equivalent
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of professional experience in consulting and IT, with IT-oriented education
At least 8 years of professional experience in consulting and IT
At least 8 years of practical experience developing 3-tier architectures
At least 2 years of experience developing database applications
Preferred Qualifications: Very good knowledge of Java EE, Angular, PL/SQL, and PowerBuilder
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design
Knowledge of version control, testing, and CI/CD processes
Teamwork, accuracy, and a structured approach
Very good spoken and written German skills
