Amazon.com's Risk Management Team is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, enhance, and maintain mission-critical microservices for risk evaluation systems that protect millions of customers. The role focuses on evaluating buyer, seller, brand, and vendor risk across orders, returns, sign-ins, listings, and other events; improving onboarding and operations with Gen AI; reducing evaluation time and cost; participating in on-call rotation; and communicating with customers and stakeholders. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, three years of video game industry experience, and experience with at least one programming language.
