Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a hybrid team of Applied Scientists and Software Development Engineers focused on AI security and risk management. The role will build systems that audit, report, and remediate AI-associated risks; develop automated security tools; establish engineering standards; manage team performance and succession; and define the technical roadmap for AI risk auditing and automated remediation. The position requires 10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of engineering team management experience, and 10+ years of consumer software development experience, with additional experience in product or program management and Agile program delivery. The Seattle, Washington location offers a base salary of 184,900.00–250,200.00 USD annually, plus sign-on payments, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits.
