AWS is hiring a Principal Software Engineer, Identity & Enrichment, to lead the Identity & Enrichment charter for AWS Customer Profiles. The role defines vision and priorities, leads a team of software engineers, and owns the charter’s business direction. Responsibilities include serverless AWS technologies, distributed microservices, performance engineering, architecture, security, product definition, technical reviews, iterative development, code review, and operations. The position requires extensive engineering and team-management experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and experience with Java, C#, or C++ and distributed systems. The role is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually.
