The role leads a group of engineers through development cycles, mentors engineers, aligns stakeholders, and balances immediate deliverables with longer-term architectural improvements. It requires at least three years of engineering team management experience, seven years of engineering experience, and eight years leading multi-tier web services, along with experience across the software development life cycle and system architecture.
