Description
Amazon is seeking a Manager to lead the Algorithms team, which develops algorithms and infrastructure for Science models, manages end-to-end systems, dashboards, data stores, testing, and maintenance, and supports the Science team. The role involves planning and executing technology projects, operational excellence initiatives, product-roadmap influence, and building and managing a team of Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Business Intelligence or Data Engineers. Candidates need at least seven years of engineering experience, three years of engineering team management experience, and eight years leading multi-tier web services, along with knowledge of full software development practices and experience partnering with product or program management teams.
