Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead the development and delivery of incident management tooling for its worldwide retail websites. The role manages a team of software engineers, sets the technical vision and roadmap, translates customer requirements into engineering solutions, drives adoption of incident response tooling, supports post-incident analysis, and represents the team to senior leadership. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, at least seven years of software engineering or related experience, strong web programming and software architecture skills, and experience with complex software or computing infrastructure. The role is based in Irvine, California, with a base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually.
