Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead engineers building AgentCore Memory, a managed service providing persistent and intelligent memory for AI agents. The role owns the delivery and operations of globally distributed, high-throughput services across control planes, data planes, and real-time ingestion pipelines; sets technical direction using Amazon Bedrock; manages availability, latency, security, on-call, and incident response across AWS regions; and leads hiring, performance management, coaching, and team culture. The position requires extensive engineering and distributed-systems experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience partnering with product or program management teams.
