Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead and manage engineers responsible for distributed software systems and operational tooling supporting the Amazon Leo satellite constellation. The role owns the team roadmap, customer requirements, project prioritization, software quality, system delivery, technical guidance, and engineer development, while coordinating with ground and space systems teams. The position requires at least three years of engineering team management experience, seven years of direct engineering-team experience, and experience designing or architecting scalable systems, with a base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually in Redmond, Washington.
