Cloud Access Gateway is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead the OPF team, which operates a reverse proxy serving over 2,500 Amazon websites and processes more than 20 trillion monthly requests. The manager will oversee engineers modernizing internet connectivity for Amazon's SDO websites, building an NGINX-based proxy using RUST and GenAI tools, and improving efficiency, latency, security, and customer experience. The role requires substantial engineering management, software architecture, web services, and full software development lifecycle experience, and is based in Seattle, Washington, with an annual base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD.
