Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of engineers for AWS AppSync, a serverless GraphQL and Pub/Sub API service. The role manages engineering operations in an Agile/Scrum environment, develops roadmaps and technical designs, partners with customers and product teams, and reports on development, quality, operations, and system performance. Candidates need at least three years of engineering team management experience, seven years of engineering experience, and eight years leading multi-tier web services, along with knowledge of software development practices and experience partnering with product or program management teams. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a base salary of CAD 171,400 to 286,200 annually.
