Description

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team building the MAC Analyzer and MAC feature automation framework. The role combines people leadership, software engineering, machine learning, telemetry analytics, and MAC domain expertise to automate diagnostics, root-cause analysis, reporting, and release qualification for wireless MAC features. Candidates need at least three years of engineering team management experience, 10+ years of engineering experience, and 5+ years in telecom, data-plane networking, distributed systems, or similar work. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually.

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of engineering team management experience

Preferred Qualifications: Experience communicating requirements, product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing software engineering teams
Experience with large-scale machine learning systems, profiling, debugging, and system scalability

Experience with wireless, wireline, optical, satellite, embedded data networking, and silicon-based forwarding fabrics
