Description

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead and grow the engineering team responsible for DNS, network proxy, and dependency-validation infrastructure supporting the EC2 Control Plane. The role provides technical direction on networking protocols, Rust, Java, and HTTP-based multi-tier services; manages engineering hiring, coaching, and development; drives DevOps, reliability, security, and operational excellence; and partners with product and program management teams. The position is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD annually.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of engineering team management experience

Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred Qualifications: Experience communicating requirements, product features, technical designs, and product strategy with users, technical teams, and senior leadership
