Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead multiple engineering teams building foundational systems and consumer-facing features for responsible AI across Alexa, Echo, and other ambient computing products. The role focuses on privacy-preserving AI architectures, AI safety and evaluation infrastructure, explainable AI interfaces, transparency controls, cross-device identity, and governance frameworks. The manager will establish technical standards, drive architectural decisions, develop engineering leaders, and partner with product, design, legal, policy, research, and data science teams.
