AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of 7–10 engineers developing software that protects AWS's operational network across the device lifecycle. The role focuses on network boundary protection, access controls, vulnerability management, AI/ML-powered anomaly detection, configuration validation, observability, and security telemetry. Responsibilities include defining the security strategy, managing the software development lifecycle, recruiting and mentoring engineers, establishing operational metrics, and communicating security posture to senior leadership. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 184,900–250,200 USD annually.
