Amazon Optics Video is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead the technical direction, architecture, delivery roadmap, and people leadership of a team building and operating production video services for Amazon security operations. The role oversees cloud and on-premises streaming, recording, camera lifecycle management, image extraction, large-scale camera migration, multi-vendor interoperability, cost optimization, incident response, and security-first engineering across AWS and embedded camera hardware. The manager will recruit, mentor, and develop engineers while partnering with security, analytics, and infrastructure teams. The position is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; New York, New York; and Herndon, Virginia, with annual base salaries ranging from $184,900 to $275,200 depending on location.
