Description

The Software Development Manager will lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering organization of 30+ engineers at Oracle’s Morocco Development Center. The role covers people leadership, engineering execution, operational excellence, talent development, software architecture, cloud and AI initiatives, delivery quality, incident management, workforce planning, and cross-functional stakeholder leadership. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 10 years of software or related technical experience, and at least 5 years of people-management experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, data engineering, or related technical experience
5+ years of people-management experience, including experience managing managers and/or leading sizable engineering teams
Experience delivering complex software, platform, support, data, or AI-related initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders
Experience leading teams supporting production systems or enterprise customers, including incident response and service improvement
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, data platforms, analytics, machine learning, or generative AI
Experience working in a global, distributed engineering organization
Experience building or scaling engineering teams in Morocco or the broader EMEA region
Familiarity with Oracle products, Oracle Support processes, or enterprise customer environments
Experience with workforce planning, organizational design, and budget management
Professional fluency in English; French and/or Arabic are strongly preferred
