The role leads a team of engineers building and operating full-stack applications, owns the team’s roadmap, guides technical architecture and software choices, collaborates with product and other stakeholders, and is responsible for hiring and developing engineers. The software is backed by Java, Amazon internal services, and third-party libraries. Candidates need at least seven years of engineering experience, three years of engineering team management experience, and five years of system design or architecture experience.
