Description

Autodesk is hiring a Software Development Manager, Generative AI to lead a full-stack engineering team building AI-enabled capabilities and agentic workflows for AEC product experiences. The role manages engineers, provides hands-on technical guidance, owns client-side and front-end architecture, delivers integration surfaces and developer tooling, and coordinates with product, research, UX, security, privacy, and platform teams. The position is hybrid and based near Toronto, Canada, with a starting base salary of CAD 140,000–205,700.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software and coaching individual contributors
Hands-on full-stack experience focused on front-end and client work
Experience leading teams building customer-facing UI and client integrations
Experience designing and shipping integration surfaces and developer tools or libraries
Experience working with ML/AI or research teams to productionize capabilities
Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD, and operational practices
Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orchestration frameworks or model-invocation patterns
Strong front-end engineering skills
Experience with performance-critical client work, visualization, or desktop/plugin integrations
Familiarity with browser developer tools, logging, and performance monitoring
