AWS is seeking a proven engineering leader to manage and develop software-engineering teams at global scale. The role focuses on building, motivating, recruiting, retaining, and mentoring engineers; creating team vision and product roadmaps; setting SMART goals; partnering with product and program management; and driving operable, maintainable software and engineering best practices. The posting also requires experience with the full software development life cycle, multi-tier web services, and engineering team management, with additional experience in requirements, technical design, and software product strategy preferred.
