Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead the technical strategy and multi-year roadmap for its core promotions and deals platform. The role owns distributed-systems architecture, real-time and batch data pipelines, machine-learning-driven merchandising, and services supplying deals and promotions data to over 150 internal consumers. The manager will lead, hire, coach, and develop software engineers while partnering with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing experiences across search, detail pages, cart, and checkout. The position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with a base salary of CAD 171,400 to 286,200 annually.
