Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a two-pizza software engineering team responsible for Reversal Promotions (RPP), the Tier-1 service determining promotion applicability, combinability, and discount amounts. The manager will own the team’s roadmap, operational health, talent development, performance, delivery, and on-call load; partner with TPMs and cross-functional teams; and lead engineering processes, escalations, and individual contributor development. The role requires extensive software engineering and team-management experience, distributed-systems expertise, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
