AWS is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team responsible for S3 Index request routing systems. The role owns the technical roadmap, correctness, performance optimization, system decoupling, data integrity, operational excellence, and troubleshooting for S3’s request plane and related systems. The manager will lead software engineers, partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture discussions. The position requires extensive engineering, distributed-systems, and team-management experience and is based in Seattle, Washington, with a stated annual base salary of 184,900 to 250,200 USD.
