Description
SonicWall is hiring two senior-level Dataplane Engineer roles: a Software Dev Senior Engineer and a Principal Engineer. Both roles focus on architecting and optimizing the dataplane high-availability subsystem across SonicWall NGFW hardware and virtual firewalls, with responsibilities spanning fast-path HA, stateful session mirroring, lock-free session tables, zero-copy synchronization, asymmetric flow handling, hardware offload integration, hitless failover, and technical leadership. The requirements call for 7+ years of C/C++ development in high-performance networking dataplanes, production experience with lock-free session mirroring and stateful failover, expertise with packet-processing frameworks such as DPDK, ODP, OFP, or XDP/eBPF, and knowledge of crypto offload engines and NUMA-aware concurrency.
