VAST Data is hiring a Software Development Team Leader to lead a core software team developing and maintaining enterprise-level, high-performance distributed systems and backend infrastructure. The role owns product vision contribution and execution, oversees the software development lifecycle, provides hands-on technical leadership, assigns and reviews work, supports performance appraisals, and collaborates with internal teams, peers, and customers to translate requirements into software. The position requires a relevant computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering degree, at least three years of C/C++ experience and three years of team leadership experience, plus Linux, multithreaded systems, software design, coding, integration, debugging, and code review skills.
