Taboola is hiring a Software Development Team Leader to lead and mentor a team of engineers building its core real-time recommendation platform. The role owns software from design through production, develops and maintains large-scale distributed systems, improves observability and monitoring, and leverages Gen-AI tools to accelerate development. Candidates need at least three years of team leadership experience, five or more years of Java or equivalent object-oriented programming experience, strong computer science fundamentals, SQL and NoSQL experience, Linux proficiency, and a B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent experience. The position offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office.
