Description
Micas Networks is seeking a Software Director – SONiC to lead its network operating system software organization. The role owns the long-term SONiC software strategy and roadmap, leads software engineers, technical leads, and managers, and collaborates with hardware, product, customer-facing, and other cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include overseeing SONiC development across hardware platforms, optimizing network protocols and software modules, improving CI/CD and DevOps practices, managing software quality and releases, and representing the company in customer and open-source engagements. The role requires at least 10 years of software engineering and software management experience in networking and at least 5 years leading software teams.
