Description
The Common Services team is sourcing a SWE2 candidate for a data-engineering role involving Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Accumulo, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Ansible, Java, and data-warehouse processing pipelines. The role requires setting up, deploying, troubleshooting, sustaining, and fixing issues in these systems, as well as developing Map/Reduce applications, Accumulo iterators, scanners, and ingest operations. The position requires 14 years of software-engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four years of additional software-engineering experience on similar projects in lieu of the degree.
