Description
Lam Research is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for semiconductor equipment, including design, infrastructure, and technology platforms. The role involves implementing customer requirements, maintaining the codebase, documenting solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and occasionally visiting customer sites. Candidates need a master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, knowledge of object-oriented software and multithreading, and familiarity with I2C, SPI, and UART protocols; semiconductor equipment, distributed embedded controls, and C++ or C# experience are preferred. The role may be performed under an on-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid model.
