MongoDB is hiring a Software Engineer for its Networking & Observability team to improve the networking, resource utilization, and observability of its distributed database. The role involves understanding and improving the networking and observability codebase, leading medium-sized projects from technical design through delivery, collaborating across the project lifecycle, and contributing to production-level C++ code. It is based remotely in Canada and requires at least three years of distributed-systems experience, strong computer-science fundamentals, and hands-on production C++ experience. The base salary range is $122,000–$170,000 CAD.
