The Backend Software Engineer will develop and maintain APIs, microservices, data pipelines, database schemas, ETL processes, and scalable infrastructure supporting data science and AI workloads. The role collaborates with data scientists to productionize machine learning models, ensures backend reliability and security, and contributes to code reviews and engineering best practices. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least three years of backend development experience, proficiency in Python and Java, knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases, containerization, cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, and AI-assisted coding.
