Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Agent Cloud initiative to design and operate globally distributed infrastructure for LLM token quota management, backend overload protection, fair capacity sharing, and protection against DDoS and abuse. The role involves distributed scheduling, dynamic reservation, self-healing systems, failover, coordination, telemetry, and architectural direction for token orchestration across Cloud. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of software development experience, and experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, or compute, storage, or hardware architecture. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, Java or C/C++ experience, and Generative AI experience. The position offers a US salary of $174,000–$252,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
