Description
Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is hiring a Software Engineer to evaluate and test technologies, design avionics, power electronics, and battery systems, and develop embedded software for AHRS and INS products. The role involves bare-metal microcontroller software, VHDL firmware for FPGA systems, sensor architecture, calibration and verification tools, hardware troubleshooting, and compliance testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of U.S. embedded software design experience, at least 5 years as a principal designer for AHRS and INS solutions, and at least 5 years characterizing and calibrating inertial sensors, along with C programming proficiency.
