OceanX is hiring a Software Engineer – AI and Data in Singapore to design, build, and operate production backend services and data infrastructure supporting science, media, and AI platforms. The role focuses on distributed systems, REST APIs, event-driven and streaming services, batch pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, geospatial data, and machine learning and agentic AI systems. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least three years of backend engineering experience, strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, and experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure automation.
