Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI and Infrastructure team to optimize AI/ML training and inference workloads, develop infrastructure tools, resolve performance bottlenecks, and improve the developer experience. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, and experience with software testing, maintenance, launch, design, and architecture. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD, generative AI and machine-learning infrastructure experience, distributed GPU or TPU computing, and cross-functional technical leadership.
