Description

GlobalFoundries is hiring a Software Engineer for its Digital Manufacturing AI team to build AI-powered applications and intelligent assistants for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves full-stack software development, backend services with Python and Flask, frontend applications with Angular, React, or Vue, integration with manufacturing data and enterprise systems, and development of RAG, AI assistants, and agent-based workflows. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists and manufacturing experts, participate in code reviews and performance tuning, and apply software engineering, cybersecurity, data governance, and Responsible AI practices.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Data Science, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience with Python and Flask for backend software development.
Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
