Phoenix Operations Group is hiring a Software Engineer in Columbia, Maryland to build secure AI integrations and agent capabilities for enterprise data platforms. The hybrid role requires approximately one to two onsite days per week and involves developing Python backend services, MCP servers, and AI tools; deploying and scaling Kubernetes workloads; connecting AI agents with APIs, databases, and microservices; implementing privacy and prompt-injection safeguards; and automating testing and troubleshooting. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, along with a bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combinations.
