Figma is hiring a full-time AI Platform Engineer to build and maintain scalable, reliable systems supporting AI features, agent infrastructure, context retrieval and ranking, Figma MCP, evaluation frameworks, and code preview and publishing platforms. The role involves end-to-end AI feature development, production debugging, platform strategy, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have at least five years of software engineering experience, preferably in backend or infrastructure engineering, plus three years in AI, search infrastructure, or developer platforms, along with proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby. The position can be based at one of Figma’s US hubs or performed remotely in the United States, with an annual base salary range of $153,000 to $376,000 USD and health, dental, and vision coverage.
